The Deathstalker or yellow scorpion is an arthropod. This arthropod uses its claws and tail muscles to defend itself. Scorpions also as shown in the picture above generally have their tail poised and ready to strike as the move. Scorpions have special muscles in their tail they use to keep the tail up and alert. In the claws similar to a lobster or crab they have muscles shaped like a claw. Similarly to the way crabs use muscles or lobsters (see lobster page) scorpion a can pinch and contract their muscles to grip or attack things.
